Product details

The 20-foot vending kiosk container is an innovative and versatile structure that has gained significant popularity in various industries. This detailed description will cover its specifications, materials, construction, and application scenarios.

1. Specifications

  • External Dimensions: The standard length of a 20-foot container is 20 feet (6.096 meters), the width is 8 feet (2.438 meters), and the height is typically 8 feet 6 inches (2.591 meters). These compact dimensions make it suitable for placement in a variety of locations without occupying excessive space.

  • Internal Dimensions: The internal length is approximately 19 feet 4 inches (5.89 meters), the width around 7 feet 8 inches (2.34 meters), and the height about 7 feet 10 inches (2.39 meters). This provides a practical and functional interior space for setting up a vending kiosk.

  • Door Dimensions: It usually has a single door at one end with a width of around 7 feet (2.134 meters) and a height of 6 feet 8 inches (2.032 meters). The door is designed to allow easy access for customers and the transportation of vending equipment and merchandise.

2. Materials and Construction

  • Frame: The frame is constructed from high-strength steel, which offers excellent durability and structural integrity. The steel is treated to resist corrosion, ensuring a long lifespan even in outdoor and potentially harsh environments. It is engineered to withstand the weight of the container's contents and any external forces during transportation or placement.

  • Wall and Roof Panels: The walls and roof are made of corrugated steel sheets. These sheets provide good protection against the elements, including rain, wind, and sunlight. The corrugated design adds strength to the structure, allowing it to bear the weight of any additional fittings or equipment installed on the roof or attached to the walls.

  • Floor: The floor is typically made of hardwood or a combination of plywood and steel. Hardwood floors are known for their durability and ability to support heavy loads. They are often treated to resist moisture and pests. The surface may also have an anti-slip finish to ensure the safety of both customers and staff.

  • Insulation: To maintain a comfortable internal temperature, especially for vending kiosks that may contain perishable items or require climate control, insulation is often installed. This can include materials such as fiberglass or foam insulation, which helps to reduce heat transfer and keep the interior cool in hot weather and warm in cold weather.

  • Finishing: The interior and exterior of the container can be finished with a variety of materials. The exterior may be painted with weather-resistant paint in a color that suits the branding or location. The interior can be lined with plywood or other finishing materials and decorated according to the specific requirements of the vending kiosk, such as installing shelves, display racks, and lighting fixtures.

3. Usage Scenarios

  • Retail Vending: The most common application is as a mobile or stationary retail vending kiosk. It can be used to sell a wide range of products, including snacks, beverages, cigarettes, lottery tickets, and small consumer goods. The compact size allows it to be placed in high-traffic areas such as shopping malls, parks, beaches, festivals, and construction sites, providing convenient access to customers.

  • Food and Beverage Service: It can be converted into a small food or beverage kiosk, serving items like coffee, sandwiches, ice cream, or hot dogs. With the addition of appropriate equipment such as a coffee machine, refrigerator, and food preparation counter, it offers a practical solution for entrepreneurs looking to start a small food business with low overhead costs and high mobility.

  • Information and Ticket Sales: Can serve as an information booth or a ticket sales point. For example, at tourist attractions, events, or transportation hubs, it can provide visitors with information about the area, sell tickets for tours or rides, and offer souvenirs. The container's mobility allows it to be easily relocated depending on the season or demand.

  • Mobile Office or Service Center: In some cases, it can be used as a mobile office or a service center. For example, a mobile repair shop for small electronics or a customer service center for a particular brand. It can be equipped with desks, chairs, computers, and other office equipment, providing a convenient and portable workspace.
